Mac::Glue glues Perl to Mac Apps

An article on perl.com introduces Mac::Glue, an elegant approach glueing the Mac OS X Open Scripting Architecture with Perl. With it you can easily write perl scripts to control Mac applications like iCal or iTunes to do everything you can do with AppleScript – without using AppleScript at all.
